Patrick Fohrmann was born in 1973 in Wolfsburg Germany.

After high-school diploma in 1993 and substitute service in 1995 he moved to Hamburg for an internship at "Chopstick Films" film production. Following this he shot several music videos with director Martin Weisz as 1st ad in New York City. Back in Hamburg he got in touch with different film genres like tv series, feature film and tv commercials.

In 1996 Patrick shot his first low-budget feature film " The Inheritance" (97 min.) as director, director of photography and editor.

In 1998 he founded with the filmmakers of the "The Inheritance" the film company "al dente film" in Lower Saxony and directed his first commercial for cinema shot on 35mm.

As freelance director and 2nd unit director Patrick shot for "Bild tagtäglich", "RTL Net", "Müller Milch", "Mobilcom Debitel", "Eucerin", "Deutsche Post", "Nivea Men", "Sparda-Bank" and the "Eurovision Song Contest".

In addition he works as a magic consultant for Film, TV, Shows and commercials.

From 2013 to 2015 he shot 3 seasons with 17 episodes each 30 min. comedy for public television NDR “Krude TV – Comedy von Norden“.

In 2014 he was awarded with the German Comedy Award as best sketch comedy for "Krude TV".

2016 as director and writer he shot video clips for the tv shows "Gute Nacht! Die Show vorm Einschlafen" with host Wigald Boning.  The show was nominated for 53rd Grimm Award 2017.

Patrick Fohrmann lives in Hamburg and works as a freelance director, writer and magic consultant.
